The Home Stretch

Well, History Boys and Girls, it's about that time.

With only 4 performances left to go, the sadness begins to set in. I have had such a wonderful time in the show and I wish it didn't have to end.

I have made so many good friends that I'm sure will be lifelong, and I've learned more about acting and work ethic than I could ever have imagined.

Thank you to the whole cast and crew for every single thing! This has been a family that I will surely never forget.

And, of course, to the fabulous audiences! With so many different and unique reactions to the show, it made every show a new show. Thank you also to those who saw the show more than once. Thanks for making it through.

A special thank you to the HISTORY BOYS AND GIRLS who have been avid readers of this blog.

Thank you for your comments and the love!

Alright, time to go get ready for our last 4 shows!

Love to everyone!

Alex Brightman

Alex, what can I say? It's so great that you kept this blog up (while I've spectacularly failed with mine recently...)

I miss you all very much and so wish that I could be there for the final performances. I think the work has been really first rate and I'm as proud of what we did as of anything I've ever done. And what fun, too (but don't tell anyone, they tend to get jealous).

Have a wonderful last few shows. I shall be thinking of you all and watching your futures - which will be AWESOME! (That's just to annoy Charlotte).

Ars longa vita brevis.

Love apart, it's the only education worth having.

Hi Alex--

It's that crazy girl that went to see you three times!! LOL!
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed all the performances I watched and that you made the character of Posner have a special place in my heart and memories.

Have you thought of setting up a blog of your own? I know you have fans who would love to know the going's ons and your future.

I wish you the best success in everything you do and will keep an eye out for your future roles. I see a long, wonderful career ahead for you.

Hugs and smiles--

Kat
